Island Bird Watching

Enjoy an early Dawn departing leisurely 2 hour tour that cruises to the South end of Caye Caulker and around to the North Island to visit the Caye Caulker Forest Reserve, where we take a guided walk amongst the literal forest with 3 types of mangroves, red, white and black. Mangroves are an excellent habitat for crocodiles, turtles, fish and year round water birds, like The Great Blue Heron and White Heron, Egrets, Pelicans, Osprey, Hawks, Falcons, Frigate birds, ducks and the pink Roseate Spoonbills. Native species are crabs, boa constrictors, iguanas and lizards. If you are not a birdwatcher, this tour is equally enjoyable because you get to Cruise both island of Caye Caulker. We can also customize this tour to add Shark and Ray Alley at the Marine Reserve to see the nurse sharks and stingrays for a complete island experience excellent for people that do not want to get wet.
