Night Snorkeling Caye Caulker Marine Reserve

Snorkeling at nite is awesome. Observe life that isn’t there during the day. Octopus, squid, shrimp, crab, lobster. The coral is reproducing. Parrot fish are in their bubble, fish are sleeping. Witness biolumenessence. Try Something Different. Don’t be afraid of the dark. Snorkel the Local Reef at night. Guided by Daniel Dominguez a local divemaster and excellent night snorkeling guide. Trip departs at dusk & returns no later than 8:30pm.

Caye Caulker Crocodile Cruise and Star Gazing

Starting at 7:30pm we go by boat through the split to the North Island in search of Crocodiles. Caye Caulker is home to a small family of crocodiles that inhabit the mangroves and lagoons feeding on fish & crabs. Crocodiles are protected in Belize for over 30 years. Once hunted for their skins. We get to witness bioluminescence, search for crocodiles, night birds and enjoy the stars, brilliant in the dark night and away from the sounds and lights of Caye Caulker.

Snacks, rum punch and flash lights included. $40BZ per person. minimum 5 persons confirm.

NIGHT FISHING

Fishing at night is a fun experience. We go drop line fishing and casting at some of our favorite spots. The guide knows the best ones. The waters surrounding Caye Caulker boast some of the best fishing. Caye Caulker has bred generations of fishermen who have made their living from the sea. Many of the older or retired fishermen continue to fish for tourism. Our guide Rolly Rosado is one of those guides. We have lots of fun fishing in the dark. We take you by boat and we provide all the gear, snacks, water and sodas.
