How to reach Caye Caulker
The easiest way to reach our beautiful island is flying directly into Belize City. Check with an airline booking engine or go the airlines website directly for reservations or have your local travel agent help you. United, American, Delta and US Airways all fly into Belize City. From Belize International Airport you can take a short flight to the island on Tropic Air. or Maya Island Air. We can book this for you. Second option is to take the public water taxi service. There are two water taxi companies and we are located at Ocean Ferry, formally Caye Caulker Water Taxi. Located beside the swing bridge in Belize City Marine Terminal.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAYE CAULKER AIRSTRIP IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR UPGRADES. ONLY OPTION TO REACH THE ISLAND IS BY PUBLIC WATER TAXI OR PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER.
TSUNAMI ADVENTURES IS NOW OFFERING AIRPORT MEET AND GREET SERVICE WITH TAXI TRANSFER TO WATER TAXI TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE TAKEN CARE OF PROFESSIONALLY. PRICE IS $25US for one or two persons. Additional persons, $15US each one way. It takes maximum 1/2 hour to reach water taxi.
It takes 20 minutes from the international airport to reach here and the cost is $25 US for two persons one way, pay direct to taxi driver. A round trip water taxi ticket on Ocean Ferry to Caulker is $15 US per person round trip. Water taxi takes 45 minutes. Upon your arrival in Caye Caulker, you can either walk to your accommodation or take a golf cart taxi. We are located here, so we can help you on your arrival to the island.
