There are so many types of travelers that come to Caye Caulker. Tourist first started coming here in the early 70’s. There wasn’t much for hotels nor restaurants. Well a lot has changed but for the best.
We have all the ease of the modern world on this little island, so to speak. Caye Caulker is really laid back kind of place. Instead of STOP SIGNS we have GO SLOW signs. No cars, just golf carts and bicycles to get around and of course your own two feet.
Caye Caulker is a small island with about 1500 inhabitants. There are 3 main streets and all the others in between. It is hard to get lost, unless your coming home after a few to many Belikins.
Belize has so much diversity. You can explore the hidden ruins of Lamanai or Altun Ha, Explore Caves while Cave Tubing. Zip through the jungle canopy or Dive The Blue Hole during the day and by night be sitting on the patio of your cabana enjoying the evening breeze and night stars.
